Client: Industrial Manufacturing Facility

Objective:
The client required a secure, organized storage solution under their mezzanine floor to create three distinct storage areas. Their primary goals were to ensure secure access to valuable parts while maintaining visibility of the stored items without compromising on aesthetics. Additionally, space efficiency and ease of access were key factors, as the area beneath the mezzanine was part of a busy work environment.

Solution:
Meshstor was tasked with designing and installing a bespoke partition system that fulfilled these requirements. The solution involved the installation of custom 3000mm high partitions, made from 50x50 white mesh panels. These partitions provided robust security while allowing clear visibility of stored items, meaning the client could monitor inventory without needing to open the doors. This feature not only enhanced security but also improved operational efficiency, allowing staff to quickly check stock levels at a glance.

To maximize space and prevent interference with the main gangway, Meshstor fitted each partitioned storage unit with large 1800mm wide sliding doors. Unlike traditional swinging partition doors, these sliding partitioning doors ensured that no door extended into the walkway, reducing congestion and making it easier to maneuver within the facility. The partitioning sliding doors were also colour-coded in red, green, and blue—to help the client quickly identify different storage zones, adding a visual layer of organization.

For added security, each of the sliding doors was lockable with separate keys, giving the client control over who could access specific storage areas. This provided an effective way to manage high-value parts securely while maintaining a clear line of sight into each storage unit.

Outcome:
The project resulted in a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing partition caged storage solution that met the client’s requirements perfectly. Meshstor’s design improved security, increased space efficiency, and created a modern, well-organized storage partition environment. The client was highly satisfied with the solution, which provided enhanced security for valuable items without sacrificing visual accessibility or workflow efficiency.
