Change is good,  and space priorities change from their original use to something more beneficial.  In this scenario, the facilities wanted to better organise a general store into an individual space that induces a sense of responsibility and ownership to each department.  After a good sort out and audit for the needs of each department,  space was divided up.  Mesh partitioning was decided to be the best means of dividing up the areas.  Mesh has the advantage of being see-through, secure and spacious.  Mesh partitioning has the added benefi of shared light. so in this case the existing light grid was sufficient.  

Having a choice is good, and OfficeSTOR offered two mesh partitioning choices. 

Option one, our traditional angle partitioning made bespoke to the room, pipes and cuts are allowed for and made off-site and delivered for quick assembly. 

Option two, a more elaborate kit system partitioning, which comes in standard size panels and doors, and the mesh is cut to suit the pipes and ducts as you go build it.

Both offer key locking doors, but traditional angle offered the added benefit of a master key in the event of keys getting lost.

The traditional angle was selected as it offered the master key and offered a more bespoke finish.

The cost of the two systems was very similar, but the kit system slightly more expensive.

Design-wise,  each department area had a double door to allow access to both pallets and large boxes.

An exsiting mobile shelving unit was caged off for added security.

The finished project resulted in a well-planned layout that was secure and airy. Departmental contents were viewable, which encouraged tidiness.  

The installation was completed in a few days on time, and enough time was allowed for the floor to be painted to freshen up  the area.
