A well known IT copier company needed to improve its stock control. They have a busy warehouse and the aim was to have a better reporting system as to what stock was actually on the pallet racking.

Sometimes, for all the right reasons, the stock count was out not through shrinkage but by engineers who wanted to meet their customers' orders and taking stock whilst not informing the stock controller. 

The solution was to provide three types of mesh protection. 

1. Anti-collapse mesh in the flue (the gap betwen two racks) of the pallet racking, floor to top of rack.
2. Mesh partition wall along front aisle with 1200mm mesh sliding door
3. Anti-collapse mesh on sides above partition supported on 75mm brackets to 3500mm height 

Finished dimensions 3500 high x 3600 wide x 7000mm long. 

The end result was a protected area constructed out of 50 x 50mm galvanised mesh that provided better stock control and increased security.   The sliding 1200mm mesh door was designed to allow easy access to existing safety steps and pallet truck for order picking, whilst not blocking aisles which a swing door would do. Three keys to the door meant key personnel could gain access when needed, w ith a spare availablle in a safe place.
