How to protect oversized pallets with mesh partitioning
Protect normal sized and oversized pallets in the same bay with mesh doors and side panels.
How to protect oversized pallets in a normal pallet racking bays using mesh partitioning.
Our client stores larger oversized pallets at the bottom and normal sized pallets above on beams, in a pallet racking bay.
The customer wanted to protect pallets of both types with lockable doors, whilst allowing forklift access to beams above.
Our solution was to install doors designed to fit the beam size of the bay. These double doors are offset the rack face by 250/350mm to accommodate the oversized pallets. Additional side mesh frames were fitted to enclose the entitre bay.
The door has no overhead goalpost, so there is no interrupted access for a forklift. Further mesh panels for side protection were fitted to frames to form an enclosed rack.
In this example the doors are designed for 3000mm beams, 2700mm high doors on a 900mm frame.
We can offer this same solution for any beam size up to 3000mm in 10mm increments and a maximum height of 4700mm in 100mm increments. Bottom wheels can be added for extra support to the doors and make them easier to use. Upright posts are available in different strengths to suit various applications.
Available in a variety of colours and plain galvanised finish.
Indoor use only.
