We were approached by a hockey club that needed lockable storage lockers for their kit. They had looked at traditional lockers and cupboards but found they were not deep enough or strong enough.

OfficeSTOR suggested using industrial shelving fitted with bespoke metal doors. The shelving offered strong 800mm deep shelves and secure mesh sides for segmentation. The welded mesh doors are available in 25 x 25mm or 50 x 50mm mesh designed to match up with the shelf spacing and rivetted back to the frames. Mesh doors and sides offer viewable secure storage, something not possible with solid sides and doors. See-thru mesh tends to take the mystery away of what's inside each compartment, resulting in fewer break-ins and less door damage. To complement their existing decor, the doors were colour matched at no extra cost. The units were securely fixed back to the wall to prevent break-ins from the back and also stop the unit from toppling over. Each completed mesh locker size was a generous 700mm high x 900mm wide and fitted with a hasp and staple padlock fixing.  The finished result gave the hockey club the perfect solution to securely store their kit.
