This is quite a typical situation with many large organizations. There is a general storage area where, if unsupervised, storage will attract and accumulate other departments' "stuff". These departments generally know what is there, but either forget and then rediscover it,  or forget and end up reordering stuff they didn't need.  Its called the office "Glory Hole".  Our client recognized they had one, and took steps to remedy the situation, with the added directive that each department should take responsibility for their space and what's inside it.  

Our brief was to site survey the space and divide it up into 9 areas. Marketing, administration, facilities, sales data storage etc. The size of each meshed cage to be proportioned to the needs of each department.  All mesh partitioning cages to have double key locking doors to accept larger items and to accept pallets. All locks to be fitted with master keys to ensure Facilities had 24/7 access to any maintenance situations or lost key scenarios for each caged area.

We offered two types of mesh partitioning and finalized on our heavy duty angle with welded 50 x 50 mesh infilled. The reason for this is it offered a more bespoke solution with master keys.  Bespoke because the partition had to follow the undulation ducting and pipes within the storage area.

On order, we carried out an in-depth site survey to ensure panels made fitted, and we prepared a 3D layout drawing for Facilities' final consultation with each department. The storage area was emptied and non-essential items disposed of. The floor was painted and space cleared ready for installers to fit the partitioning. 

Delivery of mesh normally 3-4 weeks and installation follows on arrival. 

The space was transformed and was no longer dark, cluttered and messy. The client was very happy,  and the company now benefits from all the efficiencies of an organized space and ownership of each department to maintain it.
