The Council had experienced a theft and was looking for a simple solution for storing IT equipment and monitors. Officestor offered mesh clad long span shelving with lockable mesh doors for the office area. Mesh offered a viewable solution for stock control and an airy feel to the office, sharing the natural light of the office without making it claustrophobic.

The bay sizes selected were 2500 high x 1800 wide x 600mm deep, shelves spaced to cater for standard size monitor boxes. Shelves are available in mesh, galvanized panels, chipboard, or melamine-faced board. The melamine-faced board was chosen as it looked more in keeping with an office environment and is easily wipeable for cleaning.

The shelving was fixed down to the raised access floor for added security, and nominated team leaders issued with controlled padlock keys for maintaining stock control.
